The Renewal Lab

The renewal lab is a two-year ministry process that helps a church to be renewed in the ministry to which God has called it.

All churches need renewal from time to time. Even churches that do good deeds, cannot tolerate wickedness, and have persevered for the sake of Christ (see the letter to the Ephesian church in the book of Revelation, chapter 2, as one example) must occasionally stop and focus on what God may be calling them to do in the future.

Our church’s renewal lab team is made up of eight people. They have been meeting together monthly since June 2015 to pray and learn together, as well as to engage in a variety of tasks.  The team members from our church are volunteering their time and energy to shape us toward becoming the congregation that God is calling us to be. Please pray for them.

If you have any further comments or questions, we (the renewal lab team) would love to hear from you. May God bless us all as we embark on this renewal journey together.

The Renewal Lab is part of The Institute of Global Church Planting and Renewal at Calvin Theological Seminary.
